[Team Options]
Pokemon like swords dance or calm mind Virizion or swords dance Scizor prove to be great partners to Latios as they both are able to easily set up on the like of Tyranitar, Scizor and Blissey/Chansey, all common switch-ins to Latios
Both Maganzone and stall-breakers, like Gliscor and Thundurus remain to be excellent partners to Latios as they all can help weaken an opposing team’s core, making it much easier for Latios to perform a sweep
Gliscor, as well as any other stall-breaker works well with offensive Latios, seeing as the dragon has trouble breaking through defensive Pokemon, and defensively-orientated teams, in general
Latios can be used in conjunction with other dragon-types like Garchomp and Latias, as they are able to soften up each others’ counters, allowing the other dragon to more freely perform a sweep
Entry hazard support proves to be invaluable to any Latios set, as it helps net the dragon certain KOes and 2HKoes, on common switch-ins like Tyranitar, while also, generally helping the dragon better sweep and soften up and opponents’ team
[Optional Changes]
Substitute is a great option for Latios to use, as it allows it to bypass Pokemon like Scizor and Tyranitar, as while behind a substitute, Latios can KO Scizor with hidden power fire, while being able to switch out of Tyranitar, without fear of being KOed by Pursuit
Hidden Power Fighting is also an option to consider as it allows Latios to hit the likes of Tyranitar harder than its other moves, like surf or Draco meteor
A (special) dragon dance set can be run, to allow Latios to increase its speed stat while firing off attacks from its powerful special attack
Even a mixed Dragon Dance set can be run to help Latios break through defensive team, better, as it has a decent base 90 attack stat to fire off attacks such as Dragon Claw or Outrage from; one can even use a physical Dragon dance variant, although this is not recommended, as there a better candidates for such a set
